Gale French has been interested in genealogy for 30 years. He's lives in Texas and worked for IBM at NASA for 26 years. He lectures at local & national genealogy conferences and teaches Y-DNA class.

Ancestry


Crista Cowan has been employed by Ancestry since 2004; her involvement in family history, however, reaches all the way back to childhood. From being parked under a microfilm reader at the Family History Library in her baby carrier to her current career as a professional genealogist, Crista has spent thousands of hours discovering, documenting and telling family stories. She is known as the Barefoot Genealogist and has a weekly YouTube show designed to help people discover their family history.

Jean Wilcox Hibben, PhD, MA, national speaker and writer, serves on a number of boards for genealogy groups, including the Southern California Chapter of Associated Professional Genealogists, Genealogical Speakers Guild, International Society of Family History Writers & Editors, and the Corona Genealogical Society.

Colleen Greene, MLIS



Colleen Greene, MLIS, is a librarian, web developer, and educator. She is the marketing librarian for California State University, Fullerton, and teaches an online graduate-level genealogical methodology course for San Jose State University. Greene's teaching focuses on methodology; Mexican, Mexican-American, and Hispanic research; emerging technologies; and society marketing and communications.
